Easter_basket

Do you typically make up Easter baskets to help celebrate the holiday and the arrival of spring?  I do–and I'm constantly on the lookout for a few beauty products to tuck into the basket, along with the chocolate bunnies and Peeps.  Here are some suggestions that are perfect for the makeup lover:

  • Nail polish is always a fun gift idea and Deborah Lippmann's spring nail polish offerings, I'm Not Innocent and Waking Up in Vegas are both great, versatile colors.  I'm Not Innocent is a fresh version of peach (opaque with 2 coats) and Waking Up in Vegas is a concrete-gray color that is very neutral and wearable. $16 at www.lippmanncollection.com.
  • The Vivite Defining Lip Plumper is a three-in-1 lip product that exfoliates, moisturizes and conditions lips, which leads to improved lip fullness and an improved appearance.  What I like about this product is that it isn't a traditional lip plumper; it doesn't burn. Instead, this is more of a lip treatment/conditioning product. I've been using it morning and night.  $45 at skincare physician's offices.
  • Have you tried Milani Cosmetics yet?  This affordable line of makeup has an all-new spring collection that includes Crystal Eyez Sparkling Eye Shadow, Infinite Liquid Eye Liner and gorgeous shades of 3D Glitzy Glamour Gloss. You get a big makeup look for not a lot of money. You can find Milani Cosmetics at CVS.
  • It wouldn't be spring without a new fragrance and now you can find STELLA by Stella McCartney in a new solid perfume necklace. Tucked away in a round locket stamped with the Stella McCartney logo, the fragrance is soft and wearable; one of my favorites.  $49 at Sephora.
