You’ve heard of “man’s best friend”? Bare Escentuals introduces new Buxom Stay-There Eyeshadow; woman’s best friend! This is Bare Escentuals makeup unlike anything you’ve ever tried before. The first thing that caught my eye when I saw the adorable Buxom Stay-There Eyeshadow packaging was the little dogs on the outside of the box! Aside from cute, though, these puppies really perform. When you open the container, the product inside is a plush, almost spongy texture; not loose like what you’d expect from Bare Escentuals. You can apply the eyeshadow with a brush or your fingers (I chose a brush for sanitary reasons).
I tried out Schnauzer, a vivid purple and Mutt, a bronzed taupe. I found the best results applying the shadow over a primer. And yes, even in the heat, I did get all-day wear. The formula is mineral-infused, paraben-free and buildable. I didn’t experience any irritation with this eyeshadow. And to top it off, Bare Escentuals is making a $20K donation to Canine Companions for Independence in honor of the Stay-There eyeshadows. Love that!
