Clarisonic, maker of the ingenious sonic skin care cleansing tool, has added the Opal to it’s lineup. The Opal combines sonic micro-massage with a proprietary Anti-Aging Serum for immediately noticeable and long-lasting reduction in the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles in the eye area. Curious? I’ve been using the Clarisonic Opal Sonic Infusion System for over a month and I love it! I’ve always religiously applied eye creams, but I really believe that you see immediate results with Opal. Setting up and charging the Opal was quick and easy. Once the unit is charged, you dispense a drop of the serum and infuse your skin by moving the device in a circular motion around the bone of the eye. The serum is a hand-selected cocktail of marine and botanical extracts to give moisturization and anti-aging benefits. Once I’ve used up the serum that’s included, although not advised, I’ll probably go rogue and try other serums with the unit.
The biggest benefits that I’ve realized with using the Clarisonic Opal Sonic Infusion System are lessening of undereye puffiness and improvement in dark circles. I’ve also noticed a slight decrease in the appearance of fine lines and a more firmed appearance in the eye area. A big advantage is that treating both eyes only takes 1 minute–30 seconds for each eye area.
Like most regimens, I believe that the benefits continue over time and if you stop using the Opal, your skin will likely return to it’s usual appearance. That’s enough motivation for me to stick with it! The bottom line is that if you’re a fan of the Clarisonic for skin, you’ll probably be interested in the Opal, as the Opal is designed to work with Clarisonic.
The Clarisonic Opal Sonic Infusion System retails at $245 and is available at select spas and dermatology offices, Clarisonic.com and at Sephora.com. Come back tomorrow, as the Beauty411 Skincare Jumpstart series continues!
