COVERGIRL introduces new NatureLuxe Silk Foundation; a breakthrough product that will appeal to those that usually buy their foundation in a department store rather than a drug or discount store.  Taylor Swift appears in the ad campaign and it’s a perfect match.

Let me start by saying that COVERGIRL NatureLuxe Silk Foundation is an amazing foundation–and value.  The formula is lightweight by design; it contains a blend of natural jojoba and rosehip extracts along with cucumber water which is a lighter, more luxurious alternative to a heavier feeling emollient. The result is that you literally feel like you aren’t wearing makeup.  I love that!

NatureLuxe Silk Foundation formula does contain silicones, but I am happy to report that it didn’t feel like the formula was heavy with silicones.  In fact, this breathable, oil-free foundation feels and looks great on the skin.  The coverage is buildable and looks flawless.  That isn’t by accident.  Pat McGrath, Global Creative Design Director, P&G Beauty, describes the coverage as “slightly matte with a subtle dewiness, which is what you need to create the polished skin effect on the runway or for everyday.”

In my use, I found that I really liked NatureLuxe Silk Foundation every bit as much as prestige-brand foundations in my makeup rotation.  I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend trying it.  Of the 14 available shades, I tried Sandstone and it’s a perfect match for my skin.  If you’d have told me I could find a foundation that looked and felt this good in a drugstore, I wouldn’t have believed you.
