Famous for his two-step Alpha Beta® Peel, celebrity dermatologist Dr. Dennis Gross brings us the beauty industry’s first anti-aging, exfoliating self-tanner with Active Vitamin D. The Alpha Beta® Glow Pad is the perfect multi-tasking beauty treatment.  So does it work? Read on…

When I first heard of Alpha Beta® Glow Pads, I was really intrigued.  I knew if it was coming from Dr. Dennis Gross, this product would have skincare benefits in addition to beauty benefits.  What the Alpha Beta® Glow Pad delivers is exfoliation and self-tanning in one product. The alpha-hydroxy acids exfoliate and improve the texture of the skin, allowing a more perfect surface for better coverage of the self-tanning formula.  Another reason this product is different is the use of microencapsulated DHA.  That technology allows for streak-free and best of all odorless self-tanning. Love that!

In my use of the Alpha Beta® Glow Pad, I was surprised by the size–it’s small–about 4 x 4 inches.  I used gloves to apply the pad in a circular motion to my cleansed face and neck area.  The color develops over about 4-6 hours and is very natural in color.  I honestly did not experience any odor, streaking, irritation or color transfer to my clothes.  This is definitely a great product!

Dr. Dennis Gross Skincare Alpha Beta® Glow Pads comes in a box of 20 towelettes and retails at $32.  You can purchase at NordstromSephora and www.dgskincare.com.
