L’Oréal Paris Revitalift® Clinical Repair 10 is a new collection that takes an innovative approach to skincare treatment. The line was inspired by in-office dermatological procedures and takes an intensive 10-in-1 approach to fighting the telltale signs of aging. Read on for more…
There are two products in the collection–Clinical Repair 10 Laser Corrector SPF 20 and the Clincal Repair Day/Night Cream. Both function primarily as an anti-aging moisturizer.
The Clinical Repair 10 line was specifically designed to:
1. Minimize fine lines and wrinkles
2. Firm sagging skin
3. Tighten facial contours
4. Restore elasticity
5. Hydrate dry skin
6. Smoothe skin surface
7. Soften rough texture
8. Brighten dull skin
9. Strengthen skin’s density
10. Fade discolorations
I have tried both products and of the two, I think the Laser Corrector SPF 20 ($24.99) would fit more into my personal beauty routine. I didn’t see dramatic results, but I like the anti-aging combination of retinol plus a UVA/UVB sunscreen. It’s a little unusual to see retinol in a daytime treatment, because it can make your skin more sun-sensitive, but the addition of the sunscreen offsets that concern. The Laser Corrector SPF 20 should be applied after cleansing skin in the morning. I would recommend waiting at least 5-10 minutes before applying makeup, as it takes that long to absorb–don’t want greasiness!
Clinical Repair 10 Day/Night Cream Moisturizer ($24.99) is best suited for someone with dry skin or for someone who wants to use this in the day along with a separate sunscreen product. I found it a little odd that this product didn’t contain retinol, as this would be the one that I would consider more of a night treatment. It’s very thick–almost balm-like in texture.
