I made it back from Mercedes Benz-Fashion Week, my Nutrisystem plan (mostly) on track.  Travel is always intimidating when trying to stay on a weight-loss plan.  Overall, I think I did really well, considering how crazy my days were.  Read on for more…

Being in New York for Fashion Week can be an exercise in intimidation.  When you’re covering fashion shows backstage, you’re surrounded by models no larger than a size 2.  Anything larger than that looks ginormous. The other issue is that almost everyone is dressed to the hilt in their designer “dress to impress” outfits.  It’s alot to deal with when you’re overweight.

My plan to stay on track was to eat Nutrisystem breakfast and lunch bars and then eat as healthy as I could for dinner.  That mostly worked out fine.  I was walking constantly, so I wasn’t worried about exercise.  I fell off the wagon on two counts: there was no logging in of any meals while I was gone and I failed miserably at drinking enough water.  Back on track on both counts, now!

It’s weird how not using the Nutrisystem App plays with your head.  For me, I’ve realized that logging my food daily into that app isn’t an option.  It is probably the single most important thing I do to stay focused and on track every day.  When I’m not consistently doing that, it’s so much easier to not be accountable.

This week, I lost 1.7 lbs., making my total weight loss on Nutrisystem, 48.2 lbs.  At this point, I’ve gone down a few sizes and clothes that haven’t fit for years, do now.  If you would like to lose weight and eat healthier, visit Nutrisystem online today or call 888-853-4689 for more information.
