Estée Lauder has debuted a new limited-edition pop-culture inspired makeup collection, the Estée Lauder Mad Men® Collection. This new collection features two classic makeup items inspired by the look of the women featured in Mad Men’s ® 1960’s New York City setting. Bold, red lips and creamy, rouged cheeks define this iconic moment in time.

In an exclusive partnership with the Emmy® and Golden Globe® award-winning AMC drama Mad Men®, Estée Lauder will introduce two limited edition makeup collections. The first Estée Lauder Mad Men® Collection is available now;  timed with the premiere of Season Five, and the second collection will launch with Season Six in 2013.

The Estée Lauder Mad Men® Collection includes:

  • Estée Lauder Mad Men® Collection Lipstick in Cherry features a creamy satin finish in a hydrating formula for smooth, rich color, $25.
  • Estée Lauder Mad Men® Collection Creme Rouge in Evening Rose is an easily blendable and buildable formula that highlights cheeks with a dewy, smooth and natural finish. While the shade looks like a dark rose/raspberry, in actual use it applies much lighter, which I like. You can build the level of coverage you want. $40.

Estée Lauder has always represented glamorous makeup and this packaging reminds me of the elegant makeup that I used to see on my mom’s dresser when I was a child and that’s no accident. The Lipstick is packaged in a fluted golden case placed in a leather-like gold pouch. And the Creme Rouge couldn’t get any more elegant;  it also comes in a fluted golden case with an aquamarine-colored stone clasp. The boxes are chic, too, based on a design from the 1960’s–note the vintage font!
