I  always feel a little anxious when I’m out of my Nutrisystem rhythm, because I have a system that over time, is working for me.  I know what foods I like and when I need to eat to stay refueled and not hungry. So traveling or disrupting that can be a little scary.

In planning for my trip, I packed Nutrisystem breakfast and lunch bars (I could live on the Peanut Butter and Jelly Bars, they’re that good!) and because I knew I had dinners planned, figured I would try to get in my salad and veggies at dinner.  That all worked perfectly. I was definitely able to get in my 30 minutes of exercise per day, with all the walking I did–that was no problem. My big challenge was drinking water.  There wasn’t one day that I was able to get even more than a couple of bottles of water in and I really noticed the difference.

Being able to manage my weight loss program on this trip has reinforced that Nutrisystem has been the right weight-loss program for me.  This week, I lost .6 lbs., making my total weight loss 75 lbs.! The positive reinforcement that I got from friends that I haven’t seen since last fall has been overwhelming and will help keep me motivated to reach my goal.
