Spring clothes, accessories and makeup are already on the shelves in department stores. There are several key trends for spring 2012, including florals, metallics, “Boho” and my favorite, bright colors.  Read on for ideas on how you can easily incorporate elements of the bright color trend into your own personal style for an updated look.

MAKE UP FOR EVER brings us the colorful new La Boheme Palette, which also fits in with the Boho trend for spring. These baked eye shadows are enriched with mineral powders and apply like a dream, with a pearlescent, ethereal quality. I’ve loved brightening up my eye area and pairing the Parma Violet color and accenting with a bit of Lagoon Green and Beige–so pretty! There are also new lipsticks and a fabulous Aqua Eyes eyeliner in the collection. Available at Sephora.com and MAKE UP FOR EVER Boutiques, $39.

While colored denim jeans are also trendy for spring, you can also get in on the trend with the “On The Bright Track” Sweatpant Jeans by mark. These tighty brighties represent two huge trends: eye-popping color and sweatpant-like leggings. At $40, they won’t break the bank either! Get them at meetmark.com or through a mark representative.

This Campari Necklace (item # N293R, $128) from Stella & Dot is perfect for spring through summer, making it a good investment piece. Done in coral (which is having a major moment!) and interspersed with gold accent beads, this multi-strand necklace can be worn casually, with jeans or dressed up for work.  Get more information at www.stelladot.com.

An inexpensive way to wear the bright color trend is with nail polish.  I’m loving the new L’Oréal Paris Colour Riche Nail Collection. The collection features an updated formula and a fantastic brush that make application practically goof-proof. The formula is also long-wearing–about 10 days on average. Look for the Trend Setter collection to see the season’s most fashionable shades, including one of my favorites, Check Me Out, a bright pink sure to be noticed. Colors retail at the suggested retail price of $5.99 and are available in mass, food and drug retailers nationwide.

It’s rare that you will see me without wearing a bangle–or a stack of bangle bracelets.  The Quench Bracelet from Lia Sophia in the lime shade (or turquoise) is a great way to incorporate a pop of color to an outfit without being overwhelming.  The Quench bracelet retails at $58.  I saw this and many other great pieces when I was at the Lia Sophia suite at Fashion Week.  The new Zingara Red Carpet Collection is also a great way to wear the bright colors and the Boho trend–very versatile!

Will you be rocking the bright color trend for spring?  Let me know in the comments!
