When asked the “how I’ve lost weight”  question, I always reply that much of the reason I’ve been successful is due to the Nutrisystem program.  Not only has learning portion control been key for me, but also staying focused and positive on the end result.  Yes, determination plays a huge part in any weight loss program. In one of my earliest posts, I remember saying you have to want this, because losing weight isn’t easy.

It’s the staying positive part that I believe has seen me through this effort.  Believing that I could do it.  Believing I would do it, because failure was not an option. It’s so easy to get overwhelmed, but when I do, I head to the Nutrisystem website.  They have a section called “The Daily Dose”.  Little bits of inspiration that always seem to be there just for me.  A friend of mine reminded me that being on Nutrisystem has become a way of life for me and she’s right.  It has.  And that’s such a great thing.

This week, I’ve powered through and hit a new milestone.  Since my last update, I’ve lost 2 pounds, bringing my total weight loss to 90 pounds! I’ve taken my BMI from over 43 to 29.
