There are few things I look forward to more than a good sale. I especially love the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale. This once-a-year event is the debut of Fall Fashion at great prices and the opportunity to take advantage of the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale Beauty Exclusives. Read on for my picks.
If you don’t live near a Nordstrom, no worries. You can shop online–it’s what I do, because there is no way I’m missing out on the Beauty Exclusives. The beauty brands that Nordstrom carries offer limited-edition, exclusive items available only during the Anniversary Sale. So it’s a great time to see special gifts with purchase, one-of-kind palettes or special sizes not available anywhere else.
I’ve already studied the catalog and last week was in New York at a special Anniversary Sale Preview, where I was able to see many of the Beauty Exclusives. There are so many great ones, but here are some of my favorites:
BLOW NYC Blow Spray Duo is my favorite hairspray. I bought this Duo at last year’s Anniversary Sale and what a great discovery! Great hold without stickiness or buildup–love this! Get a full size Blow Out Hairspray plus a travel size for $19.75 ($29.95 value).
MAC Exclusive Sets illustrated by London-based artist Julie Verhoeven. These sets are adorable in person. A illustrated canvas bag houses either brush sets, eye kits or lip products. The brush sets contain 4 Mineralize brushes or Essentials brushes for $49.50. There are 2 Smoky Eye Kits–your choice of Black or Plum. Each kit contains 3 eyeshadows, a Technakohl Liner, promo-sized Zoomblack Mascara and 2 short-handled brushes for $49.50 each. The Lip Bags come in a choice of Nude, Pink, Coral or Red and contain a trio of Lipstick, Dazzleglass Creme and Cremestick Liner for $39.50 each.
The NARS Cheek Palette was created exclusively for Nordstrom and contains Laguna Bronzer, Orgasm, Luster, Angelika, Gaiety and Albatross Blushes. $107 value for $65. I’ve got this one in the shopping cart!
Deborah Lippman Let’s Go Crazy Nail Polish – new glitter polish color exclusive to the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale. There is also a set of 4 magnetic polishes available from Deborah Lippmann.
BareMinerals “Best of Bare Minerals” 7-piece set includes full sizes of Golden Gate blush, Top Shelf READY Eyeshadow Duo and more. A $122 value for $54!
Kiehl’s Creme de Corps, their most popular moisturizer, in a Jumbo 33.8 oz. size for $64 ($96 value); Jumbo Amino Acid Shampoo $45 ($56 Value) and Jumbo Creamy Avocado Eye $47 ($57 value).
Clarisonic Mia 2 Set – I love these bright colors and the Mia is a perfect size for travel. The set includes a sensitive brush head (the one I use!), deep pore cleansing brush head, 1 oz. Refreshing Gel Cleanser and bag for $149 ($194 value).

Love the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale! I picked up the Bobbi Brown City Twilight Set and the Burberry lip gloss set. Please let us know what you think about the Nars blushes!
I’m agonizing over that Bobbi Brown Palette! It’s so pretty! I had the NARS palette in my shopping cart, but someone on Twitter said it sold out this morning–that’ll teach me to think about it!
I don’t know why this is, but I’m always drawn to Bobbi Brown and yet, when I get it home, it never lives up to it’s expectations.
I know I’m in the minority with this.
