I’ve recently had the opportunity to try a collection of products called the Summer VoxBox, through Influenster. To qualify, “Influensters” register and get badges based mostly on social media involvement; there is no cost. Read on for my thoughts on the products in the Summer VoxBox.
The Influenster Summer VoxBox contained the following items:
- Clear Scalp & Hair Beauty Therapy
- Hawaiian Tropic Silk Hydration Lotion Sunscreen SPF 30
- Sally Hansen Magnetic Nail Color i Iconic Indigo
- Sally Hansen Nails and Cuticles Hand Creme
- Tampax and Always Radiant Collection
- Quaker Soft Baked Bar in Banana Nut Bread
The assortment of products in this box was really nice and luckily, quite a few were beauty products. I really loved the Clear Scalp & Hair Therapy Shampoo and Conditioner, which nourishes the scalp, resulting in stronger hair. There are 10 vitamins and nutrients in the formula and I did feel that my hair looked better with use.
The Sally Hansen Nails & Cuticles Hand Creme is probably my favorite product in the VoxBox. Packed with Shea Butter to moisturize and condition, this creme is light and helps to moisturize for 24 hours. I liked this so much, I plan on buying the full size tube!
I hadn’t tried a magnetic nail colour yet, so the Sally Hansen Magnetic Nail Colour was definitely something I was interested in. It’s surprisingly easy to use and it really works! You polish your nails and hold the magnetized cap over the while wet, then watch as a design appears on nails. Very cool!
Hawaiian Tropic Silk Hydration Broad Spectrum SPF 30 is a lotion sunscreen. While I like the fact that it’s so moisturizing, the “light, tropical” fragrance is so strong, it’s not something I would use beyond testing it for the VoxBox. A shame, because I’ve had good experiences with other Hawaiian Tropic products–this one just isn’t for me.
Tampax and Always Radiant Collection have come together to design a collection of products that come in pretty packaging and wrappers. Something that women everywhere can appreciate!
Quaker Soft Baked Bar in Banana Nut Bread was a pleasant discovery. Made with real bananas and almonds, I microwaved this bar for about 15 seconds to warm it up and it tasted like real banana bread! I like that it has 5g of fiber and 6 g of protein in it, so you’re not eating empty calories.
Thanks, Influenster, for the opportunity to try the Summer VoxBox!
