Dark circles. As someone who has has them almost my entire life, I’m constantly trying eye creams to find the ones that are effective in helping diminish their appearance. And I’m happy to tell you about the new Clinique Even Better Eyes Dark Circle Corrector.  Read on for the 411…

I was excited when I saw another product in the “Even Better” lineup; I’m a huge fan of the Even Better Clinical Dark Spot Corrector. So the first thing I did when I received a sample of the Even Better Eyes Dark Circle Corrector was to check the ingredients.  I liked what I saw:  Vitamin C and Mulberry Root–to help brighten and minimize the appearance of darkness.  Caffeine, which helps de-puff and Green Tea Extract, an antioxidant and other ingredients that help to restore skin’s barrier function and support the structure of the thin, undereye area.

And as they did when they developed the original Even Better Clinical Dark Spot Corrector, Clinique developed a new technology that blends optics to immediately brighten and perfect the undereye area on all skin tones. So yes, you get instant gratification and see a brightened undereye area–love that (to actually treat the cause of the dark circles, you need to use on a long term basis, however).  The applicator is shaped a little like a flying saucer and help to cool and massage the light pink eye cream in as you apply, which helps improve microcirculation.

Even Better Eyes Dark Circle Corrector is recommended to be applied twice a day and you can also use throughout the day, if needed. In my own regimen, I’d probably use this more as a daytime eye cream and switch to a heavier formula for night, but that’s a matter of personal preference.

Clinique Even Better Eyes Dark Circle Corrector ($39.50) is available now at Clinique counters nationwide and online at Sephora.com, Nordstrom.com and Clinique.com.  If you’ve found a great treatment for dark circles, let me know in the comments!
