CHANEL is always one of the holiday makeup collections I’m most anxious for and so it’s fitting that the Éclats Du Soir De CHANEL Holiday 2012 Collection kicks off the season’s holiday coverage. Read on for more…
Intrigued by the alchemy of precious metals, Peter Philips, Creative Director of CHANEL Makeup, debuts a collection that virtually gleams with shades of gold and bronze; soft beige, pinks and deep reds set face, lips and nails aglow.
The Éclats Du Soir De CHANEL Holiday Makeup Collection includes:
Regard Signe´ de chanel Quadra Eye Shadow: If you’re a reader of Beauty411, you know I love CHANEL eye shadow quads and although I haven’t seen this one yet in person, I’m already smitten. Embossed with a quilted effect and the CC monogram, each powder eyeshadow is reminiscent of the classic Chanel jacket button–LOVE! Shades include a deep, dense bronze-gold, violet-plum red, smoky taupe to pink, for the definitive look of holiday glamour. $65.00
Poudre Universelle Libre: Natural Finish Loose Powder in Rêverie, a rosy golden beige, lights the face with an incandescent warmth. $52.00
Joues Contraste: Powder Blush in Star Dust, shimmering soft pink, highlights cheeks for a festive glow. $43.00
Rouge Allure Velvet: Luminous Matte Lip Colour: I’m not a fan of matte lipstick, but the L’Impatiente shade, a deep red-black, has me thinking I need to give matte another chance. $32.50
Levres Scintillantes Glossimer in shades of Allégorie (sheer shimmering pink), Mystery (fresh rose wood) and Intrigue (red-brown), $29.50.
Le Vernis Nail Colour in Malice, a deep red-black. I’d describe the color as a blackened garnet shade and I can see wearing this shade with a velvet blazer or a brocade jacket. Redundant to say gorgeous? Not in this case. And application is everything you expect from CHANEL Le Vernis–flawless. $26.00
