For eyeshadow, the Laura Mercier Mini Baked Eye Trio in “Smoky Metallics” gives you a beautiful holiday eye look. It’s versatile, too, as you can use the shadows wet or dry. The eye shadow is nicely pigmented; it is a metallic, so there is some falloff as you load the brush, but I really like this one. And you can’t beat the price…$25
There are plenty of fabulous holiday metallics nail options. I’ve been wearing the Ciate Sequin Manicure in Super Duper on my ring finger combined with a manicure using L’Oreal Paris Colour Riche Nail “The Bigger The Better” from the Holiday Diamonds Collection.
The Ciate Super Duper Manicure is a combination of black, silver holographic and gold sequins. It’s easy to apply and actually quite durable. I think it’s a fabulous accent and it definitely is a must-have for the holidays. The L’Oreal Paris shade, The Bigger The Better is a sophisticated black base with silver glitter. It’s gorgeous! And while I don’t own this one (yet), I had to include Dior ‘Grand Bal’ Golden Tattoos as a favorite metallic, because I love the look! The limited-edition Golden Tattoos will gild skin with 24-karat gold micro particles. There are seven exclusive designs in the set: two wrist chains, a Dior Dollisimio charm, a pearl drop charm with the Christian Dior logo, three rings and a Line A interlaced bangles. Laura Mercier really can’t do any wrong in my book. I’ve got so many of her shadows and lippies. That Smoked Metallics trio is giving me life though!
