There are so many collaborations coming up in the next couple of months that I’m excited for–Narciso Rodriguez for DesigNation (Kohl’s), Maison Martin Margiela with H&M (November 15th) and of course, Target and Neiman Marcus (December 1st). Read on for more…
I’ve been eagerly awaiting the Narciso Rodriguez for Kohl’s DesigNation Collection and made it a point to check it out on it’s opening day. Rodriguez, a Council of Fashion Designers of America award-winner, stays true to his modern design aesthetic when creating his collection for DesigNation.
The collection, which is in stores now, includes outerwear, dresses, skirts, pants and blouses with prices ranging from $30 to $150. I thought that the pieces I saw were chic, stylish and had great price points. Bonus…they opened up at 30% off–so they’re really affordable, too. Colorblocking is a major trend within the collection. Sizes run from xs to xl. This collection has many pieces that would take you from a daytime work setting to an evening event or holiday party just by changing up accessories.
Here are some of my favorite looks from the Narciso Rodriguez for DesigNation Collection:
Long-sleeved peplum top, $48 shown here in Clover (online only); in my store it was in mulberry.
Wide neck cable sweater, $64 (various colors). I can see wearing this casually or dressed up. Very versatile!
Open neck dress, $64 (various colors, mulberry/black shown); the ponte fabric feels so comfortable and really belies the moderate price point.
Overall, I love the looks in the Narciso Rodriguez for DesigNation Collection at Kohl’s. The looks I’ve shown are the pieces that I plan on purchasing. With great design and even better pricing, I think this line is going to blow out of stores and online. Do you like what you see? Let me know in the comments!
