M·A·C Après Chic is the new, recently-released collection of Mineralize products. The Mineralize line has always been one of my favorites and quite honestly, no one does it better than M·A·C. Read on for more…
What I like most about the Après Chic Collection is the frosty, baked finish of the Mineralize products and the wearability. The colors are so pretty and although I received several of the products for preview, sadly I didn’t receive a Mineralize Blush or Mineralize Skinfinish. I’ll be ordering the Mineralize Skinfinish in Porcelain Pink and the Mineralize Blush in Gentle.
I received two Mineralize Eye Shadows in Silver Birch (top row, far right) (grey base with peach veining) and Frost at Midnight (bottom row, left) (deep blue/grey) and both of these shades are gorgeous! There are a total of five Mineralize Eye Shadows in the collection. If you like the Mineralize Eye Shadows, this collection is not to be missed. The other shades include: Ice (light peach base with white veining), Winter Pursuit (copper base with grey veining) and Fireside (deep plum with grey veining base, with purple veining). Each shadow retails at $21. I want them all! I also plan to pick up the 287 Duo Fibre Eye Shadow Brush ($31).
This collection also includes five shades of Mineralize Tinted Lip Balm ($19.50). I like the formula in the Mineralize Tinted Lip Balm; it has a nice feel, good pigmentation and I love the neutral shades in this collection. Shades include:
- Stay Warm – creamy light pink
- Slightly Nude – nude coral and subtle pink pearl
- Pure & Tender – plummy creamy nude
- Nice & Simple – bronzy gold with multidimensional pearl
- Rosy Romance – Bluish plum with subtle pink pearl
Nail Lacquer ($16) is available in two shades: Hangin’ Loose, a dirty pink nude and Dangerously Fun (below), a berry-tone blue red which I adore! The color was a little streaky with two coats, but I polished in a hurry. I know that this crimson shade will be a staple for me.
M·A·C Après Chic Collection is available now at M·A·C counters and online at Nordstrom.com. Have you tried any of the Mineralize products? Let me know your favorites!
