Do you have “holy grail” favorite beauty products? You know, those tried-and-true beauty products that you reorder time and time again? That’s what we’re sharing this time in Makeup Wars. Read on for my holy grail beauty products!
It’s always been my nature to try a product and move onto the next latest, greatest. So when I rebuy a product, that’s something special. These are the beauty products I consider “best of the best” and re-buy over and over. Ask me about a favorite beauty product and these are the ones I mention:
Giorgio Armani Luminous Silk Foundation – I’ve worn this foundation since it was launched and even though Armani has come out with updated formulas like Lasting Silk (which has SPF in it), I always reach for Luminous Silk first. I’ve never found a more perfect shade match (shade 5), a foundation that looks so natural and one that feels like I’m not wearing makeup. Luminous Silk Foundation gives a medium, airbrushed-looking coverage. It’s what I use when I want “flawless”.
Fresh Sugar Lip Treatments – Another product that I bought when first released and am still buying today! In fact, usually when I am given a Sephora gift card, the first thing I pick up is a Fresh Sugar Lip Treatment. What makes it so special? I love the lemony taste of the original, the fact that there are sugar crystals that are keeping my lips smooth, it has SPF 15 and it lasts on the lips forever. I also buy the tinted lip balms (Sugar Plum and Honey) and love them for the sheer color. I always have at least one (usually two) in my handbag and car.
Neutrogena Cleansing Wipes – I definitely have a preference when it comes to makeup removing wipes. I like them to be wet and well-saturated, so they get every trace of makeup off before I wash my face. Neutrogena Cleansing Wipes do that for me and I rebuy them over and over. What’s great is that they’re inexpensive, too!
Skinceuticals C E Ferulic® Serum – I’m such a believer in this serum. Backed by solid research, Skinceuticals C E Ferulic is an antioxidant serum that is really effective at protecting skin against the signs of aging. I’ve advised countless friends that if you buy only one skin care product, make it this one. Protective, preventative–this is a great anti-aging serum. This serum is for normal-dry skins; if you have more combination – oily skin, I recommend Skinceuticals Phloretin CF Serum (I use this one in the summer).
NARS Pure Radiant Tinted Moisturizer was a total game changer for me. This tinted moisturizer feels like you’re not wearing makeup; like a second skin, only better. Pure Radiant Tinted Moisturizer is protective, too, with SPF 30+ in it. Which means I’m doing something good for my skin in addition to just providing a great base for my makeup. I wear this tinted moisturizer year round and have recommended it so many times, I’ve lost count!

I love so many of these products! I keep hearing about that foundation over and over again. Someday I’ll have to shell out for it!

Now this is an amazing list. You pretty much covered every product I love too! Although I now need to check out that Skinceuticals Phloretin CF Serum! You have me intrigued!
Since I am on the hunt for a foundation this year, I am going to have to check out the GA for sure!
Great minds with the lip balm! I’ve repurchased LSF a few times too, just not as many times as the others I am buying over and over. I just HAVE to find my perfect shade. I am using 4 right now and it is just too light and have to darken it up with a powder.
I very sadly used up the last of my Armani LSF and will be buying it again very soon. I love foundation and change them constantly but this remains a favorite.
I love Skinceuticals C E Ferulic Serum but it’s so expensive I usually don’t repurchase as often and I should.
Great list! Some very nice products indeed! I tried a sample of the Skinceuticals Serum awhile back and really liked it as well.
I adore the Armani foundation. I just picked it up for the first time not long ago, and since then, I reach for it almost daily.

@Cindy To me, it’s one of those “worth it” investments. I’d rather buy a less expensive beauty product than skin care but everyone’s situation is different!
I could have easily put both Sugar Fresh Rose and Nars tintied moisturizer on my list as well. I use both regularly and have repurchased both before.

I’ve always meant to try the Skinceuticals C E Ferulic® Serum but never got around to it! I did hear that FutureDerm is coming out with a CE Ferulic Serum too!
Awesome list!! I’ve always wanted to try the Armani foundation but never got around to it. And that NARS tinted moisturizer is my HG too….it’s amazing!
