“Effortless beauty” are the two words that come to mind as I look at the limited-edition AERIN Garden Color Collection for Spring. Beautiful colors, chic packaging and infinitely wearable, this is makeup that you’ll want to add to your collection. Read on for more…
“When I think of Spring, I immediately think of flowers. I’ve created a collection that is bright and pretty, mixing floral patterns with a vibrant, pink palette.” – Aerin Lauder, Founder and Creative Director, AERIN.
I agree…The AERIN Garden Color Collection captures the spirit and feeling of spring unlike any other collection for the season that I’ve tried. This is the time of year that I’m officially over all things winter: the snow, cold weather, being stuck in the house–I’m ready to see daffodils and tulips, open the windows and say hello, spring!
The AERIN Garden Color Collection includes:
A Garden in Bloom Palette includes 3 eyeshadows in Iris, Lily and Dahlia and a Blush in Nectar, while A Garden at Dusk is a bolder palette of Peony, Hyacinth and Dusk eyeshadows, with the Blush shade in Blossom. Regardless of the palette, the colors are perfect for an easy, put-together look. $70.
The AERIN Multi Color for Lips & Cheeks is a universal cream that enhances any skintone with a delicate hint of natural color. There are two shades: Freesia (top) and Sweat Pea (bottom). I have the Sweet Pea and it’s a flattering pink/rose shade with a slightly pearlized finish. I love the beautiful gold compact and the pretty pink pouch that it comes in. $42.
One of my favorite discoveries in trying the AERIN line is the Lip Gloss. I received Cassis, which is a sheer pink berry shade that gives a just-bitten look to lips. Other colors in this collection include Poppy and Pink Rose. The Lip Gloss formula is not sticky and contains the AERIN floral infusion that conditions and soothes, as well as the signature rose scent. $30.
The AERIN Garden Color Collection for Spring 2013 is available at select retailers, including Neiman Marcus and online at AERIN.com and esteelauder.com. Have you tried the AERIN line yet? Let me know in the comments!
