In a collection that takes us straight to Paris with French inspiration, the new L’Oreal Paris Colour Riche Versailles Romance Collection serves up beautiful pastel shades for spring and summer. Read on for more information…
The L’Oreal Paris Colour Riche Versailles Romance Collection includes six new shades of Colour Riche Nail, three shades of Colour Riche Nail Lingerie (nail stickers) and six shades of Colour Riche Balm. It seems that the competition in the drugstore aisles is hotter than ever, but I can honestly say that L’Oreal has really won my heart. I have found the Colour Rich Nail formula to be one that I reach for over and again—it’s every bit as good as mainstay nail brands that cost more. And the Colour Riche Balm feels amazing on lips. If you haven’t tried these products, you need to!
The L’Oreal Paris Colour Riche Nail shades ($5.99 each) include:
- The Palace Lift
- Macaroon me Madly
- Pistachio Dream
- Lacey Lilac
- Royally Yours
- Creme Puffs
These pretty shades remind me of the macarons you find at Ladurée! Beautiful pigmentation, smooth application and let’s talk about the long wear—I’m such a fan of this line.
I’m wearing “Macaroon Me Madly” with a Pistachio Dream accent nail. And did you notice the nail art on my pinkie? It’s the Ladies In Waiting Colour Riche Nail Lingerie over Pistachio Dream. Love it!
There are three Baroque-inspired styles of Colour Riche Nail Lingerie ($9.95 each) in this collection. I just adore these patterns—they’re classic and regal.
- Ladies In Waiting, gold swirls
- Chateau You Go, silver swirls
- Tart My Heart, white swirls
I love the versatility that you can wear these on all 10 fingers without the pattern being too much; yet on one accent nail, these stickers look totally appropriate, too. I didn’t have any issues applying over the nail polish; I stick on at the top, “pull” towards the bottom of nail to get rid of creases or air bubbles, the cut off and tuck under nail. As an extra precaution, I also apply a base coat on top, even though it’s probably not necessary. I think the gold or silver pattern would be gorgeous over white polish for a wedding manicure.
The Colour Riche Balms have seriously earned a place as a lip product that I reach for over and over. The shades that I was sent to preview from this collection include:
- Provence Romance
- Bijoux Bijoux Bijoux!
- Legally Rega
With natural-looking colors and a super-moisturizing feel on the lips, this is a great lip balm at a great price! Key for me is the fact that there is no waxy feel; just soft colour, great shine and a very natural feel on the lips.
The L’Oreal Paris Colour Riche Versailles Romance Collection is available now at drugstores nationwide. Do you plan on picking anything up?
