In a bold new collection for NARS, Parisian shoe designer Pierre Hardy brings his fresh color palette to the iconic beauty brand. It’s hard to conceive that NARS could top the Andy Warhol collaboration–that collection was amazing. If you’re a shoe lover, there’s plenty to love in the Pierre Hardy Collection for NARS. The Pierre Hardy Collection for NARS includes:
Boys Don’t Cry Blush Palette (pink grapefruit blush), $41
Nail Polish Pairs ($29), including:
I received a Sharplines Nail Polish Duo from this collection to preview. I love the idea of the nail polish duos; two perfectly coordinated shades of polish—one for tips and one for toes or complementary shades for nail art. As with previous NARS nail polish that I’ve reviewed, the creme formula of the Sharplines Duo is excellent and well-pigmented. Two coats of either the peach or burgundy shade (shown above) gives you nice, saturated color. These pairs are so great, it’s hard to not want them all! The other must-have set for me is Easy Walking; such a sophisticated set of neutrals. Nail polish duos come housed in a small shoebox with dust bag; a nod to Hardy’s own footwear packaging.
The other product that I tried out is the Boys Don’t Cry Blush Palette; one of two high voltage blush palettes And while I initially worried that this blush shade might have been too bright, it’s not at all—it’s just gorgeous. It’s very pigmented, so you don’t need a lot, but I use the Yachiyo Blush to deposit the perfect amount of color on my cheekbones. The designer’s signature cubic print that’s embossed onto the top of the tablet is so chic, but it does rub off with use.
