Clinique has re-entered the nail polish world with the introduction of A Different Nail Enamel for Sensitive Skins. Formulated so that gals with allergies or sensitivities can wear them, this collection is worth taking a closer look at. Read on for more…
This isn’t Clinique’s first foray into the world of nail polish. They used to sell them years ago and then they went away. Now, they’re back and with a different niche: a nail polish that’s a find for those with sensitive eyes and skins.
Clinique sent me a set of A Different Enamel for Sensitive Skins, along with an adorable “mani-cam” and I love the quick-drying, bright limited-edition shades for summer. There are also 12 additional shades, including the classic Black Honey, plus a base/top coat in addition to the limited-edition shades. Unfortunately, an ingredient deck wasn’t included with my samples, so I don’t have specifics on the formula or whether it’s 3, 4 or even 5-Free.
My favorite shades are Summer in the City, a bright coral and 70° and Sunny, a bright yellow. I found these polishes to have great color payoff and wore well, without chipping. The limited-edition colors are welcome, compared to many of the pastel collections for summer. These shades will look fabulous against tan skin.
Clinique A Different Nail Enamel for Sensitive Skins retails for $16.00 each and is available now in department stores, including Nordstrom and also at Clinique.com. Is this a nail polish you’re interested in trying? Let me know in the comments!
