M·A·C continues to innovate, bringing a new hybrid eyeshadow formula to the permanent line. Veluxe Pearlfusion Eyeshadows are a versatile powder formula that brings out the pigment’s pure and true colour. Read on for more…
The M·A·C Veluxe Pearlfusion Shadow Collection is made up of the following six new palettes:
I received several palettes to try and was impressed by the color payoff and finish of the Veluxe Pearlfusion eyeshadows. Each palette has a different variety of finishes within the five shades–including satin, metallic, shimmer, frost, pearlized and matte.
While all three of the palettes I received are gorgeous, I am most drawn to the Smokeluxe Palette. The shades in this palette include deep bronze, deep grey, carbon black, platinum and what MAC describes as “frosty pink white”. This palette is really versatile and I would say neutral. I love how M·A·C takes the guesswork out of what shades work with each other and like the Eyeshadow X4 palettes, you can’t beat the Veluxe Pearlfusion Palettes for convenience. They’re especially invaluable for travel. In wearing, I found this formula to have excellent pigmentation/color payoff wet or dry, although truthfully, unless you’re using one of the dark matte shades as an eyeliner, I just preferred to apply dry.
Each M·A·C Veluxe Pearlfusion Shadow Palette retails at $40 and is now a part of the permanent collection. Will you be adding one of these to your M·A·C collection? Let me know in the comments!
