Fall is just around the corner and it’s time to cast the spotlight on some of the key fashion trends. Updating your wardrobe with just a few pieces will keep you looking modern and current. If you’re not into wearing the look itself, a great accessory can transform an outfit to the next level. Lets take a look at what you need for Fall….

Graphic prints will make an impact this Fall. I love this new 3/4 Sleeve Instantly Slimming dress from the White House Black Market Instantly Slimming™ Collection. Special power mesh shapewear built in smoothes, shapes and slims you. I’ve tried this collection on in the store and it really does make you look (and feel) fabulous! Available at WHBM.com.

While Statement Necklaces are still going strong, look for the Statement Bracelet to be the next big thing. The Stella & Dot Peacock Bracelet ($79) combines two of the hottest colors for Fall—Emerald Green and Royal Blue. This bracelet will instantly transform whatever outfit you pair it with. I’ve got my eye on the matching Peacock Necklace!

Animal prints are always a trend and so is supporting a worthy cause. Chico’s is releasing this iconic leopard print scarf, which will be sold at Chico’s boutiques and outlets across the country. With every limited-edition leopard print scarf purchase ($25) from now through October 31st, Chico’s will donate $10 to Stand Up To Cancer (up to $150,000), the charitable initiative that supports groundbreaking cancer research focused on getting new treatments to patients quickly. I’m definitely picking one of these up!

My favorite trend for Fall is the “Rock-n-Roll” influence and a Moto Jacket is a must-have. It first hit the runways for spring and continues into fall. I like this Biker Jacket from Wallis in dark gray; which comes off a little softer and less harsh than black. And unlike some of the Moto Jackets I’ve seen, I like that this jacket is a little more tailed and not as boxy. Pair the Moto Jacket with these Rebecca Minkoff Saatchi Booties (on their way from ShopBop!) and it’s a great way to wear the look.

Wantable box

An easy way to make sure your accessories are always current is through a new subscription-box service called Wantable.  You can purchase a single box (makeup, accessories or intimates) for $40 or subscribe for $36 monthly. I was sent a preview box and definitely received much more value than the price of the box. There’s an extensive questionnaire process that helps to hone in on your style and preferences. I received 4 pieces in my box and I will be wearing each of them. Give it a try!

What key pieces will you be adding to your wardrobe for Fall? Let me know!
