There are a million gift guides out there for stocking stuffers, so I decided to do one that focuses on lip balms. Not only are these lip balms cute…they’ll be much appreciated now that the cold weather has set in. Read on for my picks to gift. Bonus…most are available in drug and discount stores, making them convenient, as well.

Twist-Pout-Holiday-Lip-Balm-collection

From Twist & Pout, it’s hard to resist the Holiday North Pole and Candy Cane Twist collections of peppermint flavored lip balms. The packaging is hard to resist and there are six patterns to choose from ($3.99). I love the keychain lipbalms ($4.99), which solves the problem of never being able to find a lipbalm when you need it!

Chapstick-holiday-2013-grp

ChapStick® is a perennial favorite and this holiday season limited-edition Holiday Tins and the ChapStick® Collector’s Edition Ornament Tins make great stocking stuffers. The Holiday Tins come in eight colorful designs–so cute. I like to attach the ChapStick® Collector’s Edition Ornament Tins to packages. They come in 3 designs: Red, White & Sparkle, Candy Cane Swirl and Red, White & Blue Candy Cane – each tin contains three ChapStick® Candy Cane seasonal varieties.

burts-bees-tint-shine-set-red

Burt’s Bees is out with the Tint ‘n Shine ($9.99) gift set, which contains coordinating shades of Tinted Lip Balm and the new Lip Shine. The set comes in two variations: Pink, with Tinted Lip Balm in Hibiscus and Lip Shine in Blush and Red, with Tinted Lip Balm in Red Dahlia and Lip Shine in Smooch. I had the opportunity to try the Red set; the Tinted Lip Balm is moisturizing and has sheer color (just right), while the Lip Shine also conditions lips with glossy color.

philosophy peppermint stick ornament

My love for Philosophy goes way back and this year’s Peppermint Stick Ornament ($10) is a great gift for a Secret Santa exchange; it even hangs on the tree. The Peppermint Stick Lip Shine has a high-shine finish, has a very sheer, hint of color and is not sticky (love!).

Jack Black Balm Squad

The Jack Black Balm Squad Lip Quad ($25) is a set of four of the most amazing lip balms: Asian Pear and White Tea, Natural Mint and Shea Butter, Grapefruit and Ginger and new Black Cherry and Pomegranate. Good for guys (or gals) these lip balms are long-lasting and provide intense hydration. I also love that there is SPF 25, making them a good choice for year-round use.

LUSH Lip Tint-and-Scrub

For LUSH fans, the cola-flavored Santa Baby Lip Tint and Lip Scrub help keep lips in good condition. The Lip Scrub helps to exfoliate and prepare lips, then follow up with the super-pigmented Lip Tint to moisturize. The Lip Tint is a great way to wear color if you’re not a lipstick fan.

Any of these cute and colorful lip balms would be a super practical gift. What do you like finding in your stocking?
