Urban Decay has given us many ways to get NAKED–on our eyes, our skin, our body and now, finally, our lips! Urban Decay has introduced NAKED Lipgloss and I’ve been dying to try it out. For me, getting NAKED just keeps getting better!
One of the things I love about the Urban Decay franchise are the neutral color palettes. Although they have edgier makeup, no doubt the NAKED line is my favorite. It’s only fitting that there would be a Lipgloss to complement the gorgeous NAKED Palettes. I love the feel of the Lipgloss; it’s definitely not sticky.
The NAKED Lipgloss formula contains Hyaluronic Filling Spheres™, vitamin E, avocado oil, and shea butter to hydrate and condition lips. Rosehip seed oil provides an extra hit of vitamins, including vitamins A and C, so it feels more like a lip treatment than a beauty treatment.
The NAKED Lipgloss colors are beautifully neutral, have good pigmentation, creamy consistency and come in 9 beautiful shades, including:
- Beso – deep pink mauve
- Freestyle – brown nude with golden micro-shimmer
- Liar – soft pink mauve
- Lovechild – medium pink
- Naked – nude pink with pearl shimmer
- Nooner – light neutral nude
- Rule34 – medium brown nude
- Streak – coral peach
- Walk of Shame – pale nude-pink with pink micro-shimmer
I had the opportunity to try most of the NAKED Lipgloss shades and they’re all extremely pretty and wearable. I don’t say this about many lip glosses, but I think if you try one, you’re going to want the entire collection. With the “pink-nude” lip trend so huge for spring, you couldn’t ask for a more timely collection. Of course, having the namesake Naked gloss (pictured above) is a must, but I also like Lovechild for a creamy look with no shimmer.
