MAC Matchmaster Concealer-beauty

I’m always on the lookout for a great concealer, so I was excited to see the new M·A·C Matchmaster Concealer cross my desk. Formulated to enhance the subtleties of your skin tone, Matchmaster Concealer utilizes breakthrough pigment technology to create a fully personalized, subtle satin finish. In a word? Fabulous!

MAC Matchmaster Concealer Shade Chart

M·A·C Matchmaster Concealer comes in 12 shades (1.0, 1.5, 2.0, 3.0, 4.0, 5.0, 6.0, 7.0, 7.5, 8.0, 8.5, 9.0).  I previewed three of them–1.0, 5.0 and 6.0.  I think for winter, since I have a light-medium skin tone, I could make 1.0 work, but I’m ordering 2.0 just to be on the safe side.

Matchmaster Concealer comes in a stick form and contains Vitamin E to condition skin, while reducing the appearance of under eye circles, dark spots and discolorations. I can tell you from testing that this concealer does an excellent job of that–and it doesn’t dry out the area below the eye, or look cakey/creasy. I also found it to last all day. For testing purposes, I just blended in with my fingers, but the 195 Concealer Brush or the 193 Angled Foundation Brush will give the most precise application.

M·A·C Matchmaster Concealer  is available now in the permanent line in department stores including Nordstrom and online at maccosmetics.com. If you’re looking for a concealer with excellent coverage and feel, I’d highly recommend this one.
