Most people think of “wish lists” only around the holidays, but my theory is that you should always have a wish list at the ready. This time of year, my wish list gets new life with all of the amazing gift sets and limited-edition products. Come take a peek at what’s on my Beauty Wish List–and no, I don’t expect that I’ll be getting much of it. But it’s definitely fun to dream!
My Beauty Wish List includes the best of the best:
When I think of my “beauty wish list”, Tom Ford is the first name that comes to mind. And this Limited-Edition Lip and Nail Box ($656) is the ultimate wish list item. The chic black box contains a wardrobe of 8 lip colors and 8 nail colors that are out-of-this-world gorgeous. I probably have a much better chance of getting the Tom Ford Neutral Two Piece Lip & Two Piece Nail Gift Box, which I’d love just as much. So elegant!
I confess; I have a weakness for beautiful makeup. This Makeup Coffret by Cle de Peau Beaute ($195) is stunning! The case features a celestial motif and on the inside there are 3 limited-edition eyeshadows, 2 limited-edition blushes, a limited-edition lipstick and mascara. Love!
There is never a wishlist for me—beauty or otherwise—that doesn’t have CHANEL on it. Always. This season, I’m swooning over the CHANEL Show Your Hand Deluxe Nail Set ($220). The set includes 8 LE VERNIS Nail Colours, including Rouge Fatal (exclusive to this set), Tapage, May, Ballerina, Violette (exclusive to this set), Charivari, Blue Boy, Black Satin and a limited-edition case. Yes, I do have quite a few of those shades already, but a girl can always use backups!
It’s no secret that I love Giorgio Armani makeup and have worn it for years. This year’s Giorgio Armani Limited Edition Holiday Palette ($100) includes The Mink eyeshadow trio and an Illuminating Complexion Powder for Face. I’d love that powder! And the eyeshadows are named after furs: mink, sable and chinchilla. The set comes with an Armani midnight blue velvet pouch. Yes, please!
One perennial beauty wishlist favorite are the limited-edition refillable compacts from Estée Lauder. It’s such an indulgence to pull a beautiful compact out of your handbag. This Limited-Edition Shimmering Confetti Powder Compact ($125) is whimsical, yet glamorous and comes filled with Lucidity Translucent Pressed Powder. This would be such a thoughtful gift for someone that is hard to buy for.
When I saw that La Mer had introduced a Limited-Edition The La Mer Candle ($80), it immediately went on my wish list! Fragranced with a sea-inspired scent, this would be calming and lovely to burn at night after a hectic day. And it would be perfect in my new bathroom. This candle paired with the limited-edition The BCA Hand Treatment would make a lovely gift!
It should be no surprise to see the CLARISONIC Sonic Radiance Brightening Solutions Set ($249) on my beauty wish list. This system is designed specifically to help restore your skin’s glow. Included are an Aria-Mia 3 device, along with a Radiance Brush Head and the products that work together to enhance and brighten skin.
Although I’ve been getting good results with my Tria Age-Defying Laser (review), there’s a new FDA-cleared at-home laser from iLuminage; the Skin Smoothing Laser™ ($595). The Skin Smoothing Laser™ specifically targets fine lines and wrinkles around the eyes and mouth. I like the fact that this device is sculptural in appearance so that you can leave it on your counter.
I’m never at a loss for finding the most gorgeous gifts of beauty. Hopefully you’ve enjoyed dreaming a little dream along with me today. Make sure to check out the beauty wish lists of the other Makeup Wars beauty bloggers!
