New from La Prairie, Cellular Swiss Ice Crystal Emulsion is a light, anti-aging moisturizer based on the discovery of two alpine plants and an algae that are able to withstand extreme conditions. That translates to good news for us, as UV rays, lack of sleep, stress and pollution are environmental factors that can lead to premature aging.
Regardless of the season, environmental stressors are a reality in our daily life. In my case, if I’m under a lot of stress or am not getting enough sleep, it shows in my skin. Dehydration, a fatigued look, sallowness, lack of color–my skin plays show and tell when things aren’t quite right. That’s why when I read about how Cellular Swiss Ice Crystal Emulsion is formulated, it made sense to me. Not only does the formula contain the Swiss Ice Crystal Complex, there are plumping ingredients, peptides and antioxidants including Vitamins C and E.
I live in the Midwest and winters here can be extreme. Using Cellular Swiss Ice Crystal Emulsion as part of my skin care regimen has been lovely. The Emulsion has a lightweight texture, so if you prefer that over a more traditional creme moisturizer, this is an excellent product to consider. What I like is that the Emusion, though light on the skin, penetrates, hydrates and nourishes skin. It has a fresh, delicate scent that makes me think of snow. And what I really like is that the Cellular Swiss Ice Crystal Emulsion makes my skin feel totally hydrated, while restoring luminosity and a glow. To use, apply the Emulsion to a cleansed face, neck and decollete in the morning and evening after a serum, if you use one.
Of course, coming from La Prairie, the products in the Cellular Swiss Ice Crystal Collection (including the Emulsion) come in luxe packaging that looks beautiful on your vanity. I admit that I love that extra touch! I’ve also been incorporating the Cellular Swiss Ice Crystal Dry Oil and love it. Whisper-light, this dry oil absorbs right into skin to hydrate and nourish. Love!
