Urban Decay Spring Makeup Collection 2015

Urban Decay ushers in spring with a collection that will make any beauty junkie happy…new must-have Sheer Revolution Lipsticks, NAKED Skin Ultra Definition Powder Foundation, NAKED Skin Weightless Complete Coverage Concealer and Moondust Eyeshadows in a build-your own palette.

I’ve really come to appreciate the Urban Decay line and the high-performance products that I rely on and use constantly. The makeup direction for this spring is nude makeup, sheer coverages and flawless skin. Let’s face it–that’s a hard look to pull off–at any age. Urban Decay gives us the products that we need for a beautiful look, whatever the season.

Highlights of the Urban Decay Spring 2015 Makeup Collection include:

UD Sheer Revolution Lipsticks-grp

Sheer Revolution Lipsticks in ten shades: Sheer Anarchy (sheer fuchsia), Sheer F-Bomb (sheer red), Sheer Ladyflower (sheer rose-pink), Sheer Liar (sheer pinky-brown nude), Sheer Obsessed (sheer baby pink), Sheer Rapture (sheer dusty rose), Sheer Shame (sheer berry), Sheer Slowburn (sheer orange-red), Sheer Streak (sheer coral-pink) and Sheer Walk of Shame (sheer pale nude-pink). Each shade, $20.

I love the Revolution Lipsticks for their pigmented, wearable color and to be honest, I like the Sheer Revolution formula even more! This is not a “balm”; it’s a pigmented lipstick but in a sheer, long-wearing, nourishing formula. I love all the shades because they’re so wearable, but if I had to pick a favorite, I’d have to say it’s Sheer Liar; sheer perfection!

Urban Decay Ultra Definition Powder Foundation shades

NAKED Skin Ultra Definition Powder Foundation (14 shades, $36) comes with an entirely new shade-matching system that I’m so excited about. Your skin tone makes up the first part (fair, light, medium, medium light, medium dark, dark and deep); the second part is the undertone (cool, neutral, warm and golden). If you’re unsure of your undertone, go with neutral. My perfect shade is Medium Light Neutral and I love that I am able to find just the right shade without drama. Feels great on the skin, you can build your coverage and use it wet or dry. I’ve used this a million times since getting it and really like it.

Urban Decay NAKED Skin Concealer

NAKED Skin Weightless Complete Coverage Concealer ($28) has a weightless formula with full coverage. Yes, you read that right. I was blown away by the level of coverage; yet in the eye area, there is no settling into fine lines, no creasing. The formula includes peptides, Japanese green tea and sodium hyaluronate–so you get skincare benefits in a makeup tube. My new favorite! Available in eight highly pigmented shades using the same shade-matching system as the NAKED Skin Ultra Definition Powder Foundation, so you can get your perfect match.

Urban Decay Moondust Eyeshadows in Nirvana Palette

And because no spring look should be without color, Urban Decay introduces four new shades of Moondust Eyeshadow ($20 ea.) and the Nirvana Build Your Own Palette ($10). Fill the Nirvana Palette with Moondust Eyeshadows or four Urban Decay shades of your own choosing, I love this idea for the convenience. The new Moondust Eyeshadow shades include: Cosmic (metallic white with iridescnet 3D sparkle and shift), Ether (light purple with pink-blue 3-D sparkle and shift), Scorpio (matte black with gold 3-D sparkle) and Solstice (metallic pink-red with green 3-D sparkle and shift). These shades give a gorgeous diamond-like effect and are not for the shy. But when you want to amp up your look with some sparkle and brilliance, you need Moondust.

The products in the Urban Decay Spring Collection are available now in Sephora, Nordstrom, Ulta, select Macy’s stores, Beauty.com and urbandecay.com.
