Christopher Kane for NARS Collection-stylized product shot

As a result of the evolution of the creative relationship between NARS and Christopher over the past six seasons of London Fashion Week, NARS has released their first fashion 10 piece color cosmetics collection. The Christopher Kane for NARS Collection stays true to the three signature Christopher Kane color themes; bold neon, classic neutral and futuristic iridescence.

The Christopher Kane for NARS Collection includes:

Christopher Kane for NARS Collection Outer Limits Single Eyeshadow

Outer Limits Single Eyeshadow (iridescent rose gold), $25

Christopher Kane for NARS Collection Parallel Universe Duo Eyeshadow

Parallel Universe Duo Eyeshadow (left: iridescent pink lilac, right: soft iridescent violet), $35

Christoher Kane for NARS Collection Starscape Blush

Starscape Blush (neon pink), $30

Christopher Kane for NARS Collection Silent Nude Blush

Silent Nude Blush (soft beige), $30

Christoher Kane for NARS Collection - Lip Gloss group

Lip Gloss in Mezmer (sheer neon pink), Nebulous (neon coral), Nucleus (seashell pink) and Glow Pink (sheer fuchsia), $26

Christopher Kane for NARS Collection Illuminating Multiples

Quantum (sheer iridescent magenta) and Violet Atom (sheer iridescent violet) Illuminating Multiple, $39

What I love about the Christopher Kane for NARS Collection is that this is a collection of vivid colors, along with the nude shades that complement and balance them. In the summer, neon colors take on a neutral vibe, so don’t be afraid of the bold shades that sit alongside the softer shades. It works!

I tried three products from the collection…Parallel Universe Duo Eyeshadow, Starscape Blush and Mezmer Lip Gloss. First, the products live up to the great pigmentation that I expect from NARS. The Parallel Universe eyeshadows are a true iridescent, with almost a duochrome finish. Beautiful!

I am OBSESSED with the Starscape Blush. If you only get one thing from this collection–grab it! I know what you’re thinking…too bright. But it’s not too bright at all. Applied with a light hand and blended out, it’s the most gorgeous face-brightening shade of blush. You’ll love it, trust me. There is no shimmer to this blush, which for me means that I can pair it with a bronzer that has a hint of shimmer to it and get the perfect flushed glow.

The Mezmer Lip Gloss is also pretty. It’s a punched-up pink shade that leaves a hint of a stain and isn’t too bright once applied. Love!

The Christopher Kane for NARS Collection is available now in NARS Boutiques and at and will be available in department stores on May 1st. This is a limited-edition collection for summer that you don’t want to miss out on!
