The Guerlain Summer 2015 Collection takes us to the the gorgeous beaches and palm trees of Palm Beach and Palm Springs. Inspired by the spirit, look and scent of the sun, Guerlain delivers pops of color with a tropical flair.
The Guerlain Summer 2015 Makeup Collection includes:
Guerlain My Terracotta Bronzing Powder (with Sleeve) $55.00
The star of the collection, My Terracotta, is dressed up for summer in a colorful sleeve. The bronzer is available in two limited-edition shades: 02 Natural Blondes (turquoise) and 03 Natural Brunettes (coral).
Guerlain Summer Waterproof Eye Shadow ($32) in limited-edition shades of Blue Ocean and White Sand.
Guerlain Rouge Automatique Hydrating Lasting Lip Color ($37) in limited-edition shades of 662 Pink Fluo Stiletto and 603 Yellow it-stick.
Guerlain Le Vernis Nail Lacquer ($26) in limited-edition Blue Ocean.
The Summer Collection from Guerlain is unexpected and delightful; I love the addition of a sleeve to the My Terracotta Bronzing Powder–so fun! For best results, consider picking up the Terracotta Bronzing Brush (or check out the limited-edition Sun Glow Kit!).
The Summer Waterproof Eye Shadow is a must-have; sweatproof, heatproof, this eyeshadow dries instantly and offers nice color payoff. I like that you can blend it out to make it more sheer, if you like. I tried the Blue Ocean shade, which would look amazing against sunkissed skin.
The Blue Ocean Nail Lacquer in one word? Gorgeous! I look at this shade and can see the beautiful blue turquoise waters of the Caribbean. It has just a hint of shimmer to it. I used three coats to get the most saturated color. Le Vernis Nail Lacquer is long-lasting, chip resistant and I love the brush.
The Guerlain Summer 2015 Collection is available at Guerlain Boutiques, Bloomingdales, Saks Fifth Avenue, Nordstrom, Neiman Marcus, Sephora, Dillard’s and Bergdorf Goodman. Are these tropical shades on your must-have list?
