Bobbi Brown Telluride Collection

I had the opportunity to preview the beautiful Bobbi Brown Telluride Collection and it successfully captures the essence of a healthy glow; perfect for summer. The Telluride Eye Palette has a mix of textures in brown, soft blush and mauve neutral shades. Of the seven shades, one is metallic (Velvet Plum), one is a sparkle finish (Blazing Star) and one a shimmer wash (Heather Rose). My favorite shade in the palette is Antique Rose; it’s a gorgeous flesh-toned shade that is perfection as a base shade. Don’t be afraid of the textured eyeshadows. The effect is subtle and does not scream “I have sparkle eyeshadow on!” I found the pigmentation in this palette to be very good.

The Pot Rouge in Telluride is a hard color to describe. In the pan, it looks like a medium brown shade. When you apply it to cheeks, however, it magically imparts a “healthy glow” appearance. It might be easy to pass this color over by just looking at a picture, but that would be a mistake. I’ll definitely get alot of wear from Telluride. Although I didn’t try it, the colors in the Shimmer Brick look exquisite.

The other product I tried is the Sheer Lip Color in Sunset Pink, which is a rosy-pink shade that brightens up your whole complexion. The formula is pigmented, with the feel of a balm. Any of the shades would be good choices.

Overall, I love the look and feel of the Bobbi Brown Telluride Collection and think it’s worth picking up some of these pieces for your summer-into-fall makeup rotation. You can find the collection now at Nordstrom and at
