This fall, Bobbi Brown Cosmetics introduces the Greige Collection, a curated range of Bobbi’s favorite neutral shades that deliver a classic, chic “Bobbi look”. There are few color ranges that I love more. This collection was inspired by the shades Bobbi discovered while mixing paint during a home project. I can totally relate, as these are all the colors in my new house!
The Bobbi Brown Greige Collection features the perfect blend of grey and beige hues. The result is a complementary color palette of the perfect naturals, along with a few intense, more dramatic shades.
The Bobbi Brown Greige Collection includes the following products:
Limited Edition Greige Eye Palette, $70
Limited Edition Intense Pigment Eyeliner in Black Plum, Forest and Midnight, $36
Limited Edition Long-Wear Cream Shadow Stick in Greige and Midnight, $29
First, let it be said that I’ve loved Bobbi Brown forever and any new collection gets me excited. When I saw “Greige” + “Bobbi Brown”, I couldn’t wait to see the collection in person. The colors in the star product, the Greige palette are understated, yet so beautiful. And the navy metallic case is so elegant.
In my experience working with the Greige eyeshadow palette, to get the best results you really need to use a primer to grab the color, otherwise I would call the pigmentation/color payoff average. Since I use a primer every day, regardless of brand of eyeshadow, this is no big deal. But I wouldn’t want someone to think these eyeshadows are super-pigmented and be disappointed. The colors I am obsessed with is Greystone, a mid-tone grey taupe and Fog. This palette screams soft smokey eye!
With graphic eyes a major trend for Fall, the introduction of the Intense Pigment Eyeliner is a good option to “stylo” liquid eyeliners, which can be tricky. I tried the Forest and Black Plum trios and used a dampened Bobbi Brown Smoky Eye Liner Brush to apply. Wet or dry, this eyeliner is very pigmented, with almost a bit of a creamy texture, so there is some play once you apply. It’s easy to work with and I love the fact that there is a trio of coordinated shades to play with.
I bought the Greige Nail Polish and am so glad I did. On me, this color reads more taupe than grey. It’s a beautiful color for everyday nails (shimmer on the accent nail for the win!). Greige is a cream, with good wear and a chip-resistant finish. I will probably need to order the Smokey Topaz because it looks gorgeous, too.
Bottom line for me…the Bobbi Brown Greige Collection is a winner. To be honest, the Greige Eye Palette is probably my favorite Bobbi palette to date, and I have MANY. You can find the Greige Collection in department stores now, including Nordstrom, Neiman Marcus and on BobbiBrown.com. Don’t miss out on this one!
