François Nars and iconic fashion photographer Steven Klein have come together to create a holiday makeup collection that is both beautiful and edgy. The NARS Steven Klein Color Collection introduces new Killer Shine Lipsticks and Killer Shine Lip Gloss, with a formula that that emphasizes color payoff and finish.
The NARS Steven Klein Color Collection includes:
Single Eyeshadow ($25) in Mortal (iridescent pearl white shimmer), Stud (soft pewter bronze shimmer) and Never Too Late (olive green with gold shimmer).
Limited Edition Killer Shine Lipstick ($29) in Besame Mucho (deep rose-beige), No Shame (red-plum) and Redemption (metallic pink-champagne).
Limited-edition Killer Shine Lip Gloss ($28) in Provoke (deep iris-purple), Fast Life (iridescent dusty-rose) and Special Force (wild strawberry).
Nail Polish ($20) in Black Fire (shimmering slate blue), Hard To Get (metallic bronze gunmetal) and Night Creature (metallic iris-purple).
Dual-Intensity Blush ($45) in Vengeful; white-gold highlight and shimmering brick red.
I was able to preview several pieces from the NARS Steven Klein Collection: the Hard To Get Nail Polish, Single Eyeshadow in Stud and Killer Shine Lipstick in Redemption. It’s a stunning lineup! The colors work so well together are beautiful year around, but the gleaming finish of the eyeshadow is beyond for holiday. As I was playing, I paired Stud with my Cordura Duo Eyeshadow for the most sumptuous smoky eye! Stud has become my favorite shade of NARS Eyeshadow….a big statement!
The Killer Shine Lipstick is not to be missed because the feel on the lips is amazing. Very comfortable and moisturizing, the shade I tried, Redemption, is a barely-there color. You can use this shade to add a metallic finish to bare lips or on top of another lipstick shade for a modern gleam.
Hard To Get Nail Polish surprised me. In the bottle, it’s a gorgeous gold-bronze shimmer; once applied, it’s definitely a bronze gunmetal. I love the NARS Nail Polish brushes; they’re perfectly shaped for my small, squarish nails, so application is a dream. And thankfully, this isn’t a foil formula, so it’s easy to work with. Two coats, great coverage. Love!
The NARS Steven Klein Color Collection is available now in NARS Boutiques and at narscosmetics.com, and will be available November 1st in department stores including Nordstrom. The collection also includes limited-edition holiday gift sets; make sure to check those out!
