Perfect skin doesn’t happen by accident…you really have to work for it. And one of the ways I’ve been doing that is with the NuFACE mini Facial Toning Device. The NuFACE mini Facial Toning Device is an easy to use, FDA-cleared, handheld non-invasive tool that stimulates the muscles of the face, leading to a more lifted and toned appearance. It really works!
I love testing high-tech skincare and tools, so when I had the opportunity, I was definitely interested…although a bit hesitant. I was worried; would it hurt? I had seen demos of the NuFACE Trinity device and the results were impressive. The NuFACE mini Facial Toning Devices uses the same microcurrent technology to gently stimulate the muscles and improve the appearance of the foundation of the face–around the jawline, cheekbone area and forehead/brow areas.
Like I do before testing any product or device on my face, I sat down and thoroughly read the directions. The NuFACE mini Facial Toning Device is not for you* if you are pregnant, subject to epilepsy, have a pacemaker or other electronic implanted device or have cancer. Since none of those conditions apply to me, it was on with the preparation and charging the device.
Once the device is thoroughly charged, I found it helpful to review this video, which shows the “glide” technique, and placement of the NuFACE. There are three easy steps to using the NuFACE mini Facial Toning Device: Prep the skin by cleansing first, then applying the NuFACE primer. Glide the NuFACE mini over the face, avoiding the periorbital area (the treatment time is approximately 5 minutes per day for 5 days). Then finish by removing the NuFace primer with a wash cloth.
I was not expecting to see results in a short amount of time, but I did see results within the first 2-3 sessions. I noticed a definite improvement in the “lift” around my jawline and a more contoured appearance in the cheekbone area. There was absolutely no pain, discomfort or irritation when I used the NuFace mini.
I think one of the most encouraging things I experienced with using the NuFACE mini Toning Device is that I saw results quickly and was motivated to continue. I also like that it’s only a 5 minute time committment. I use it in the evening before bed and even though I’m tired, I know that I can invest 5 minutes in my skin. The other thing I love is that it’s about the size of my palm, so it’s portable for travel.
The NuFACE mini Toning Device retails at $199 and is available in department stores, including Nordstrom, Sephora, Neiman Marcus, QVC, as well as at www.mynuface.com. Have you tried any of the NuFACE products? What were your thoughts?
