Makeup Wars Favorite Holiday - Winter Nails banner

This week the Makeup Wars gals are going through our stashes to find our favorite holiday and winter nail colors. It’s never easy to narrow it down, but it seems the past few months I’ve had some real stunners come my way. Take a look at my picks!

SinfulColors Sinful Shine

Let’s start with holiday, because that’s what’s on my mind now. For holiday, I love glitz and glam! I’m currently wearing new SinfulColors® Sinful Shine; a two step gel-like manicure with incredible shine. I’m really impressed with how shiny the Sinful Shine Top Coat is…and how durable. I’m wearing Devious, a true red with a Gold Star accent nail. I can’t tell you how many compliments I’ve received as I’ve been out shopping. Love! Sinful Shine is available nationwide, $2.99.

butter LONDON Disco Nap and Her Majesty's Red Nail Lacquer

One of my favorite launches this year…and perfect for either a holiday or to wear in the winter, is butter LONDON Disco Nap. Part of the Allure & butter LONDON Collection (review), Disco Nap is a glitter charcoal that can be used alone, or paired with a complimentary color, like Her Majesty’s Red. I would love this combo paired with a houndstooth blazer or little black dress.

OPI Give Me Space

From OPI’s Starlight Collection for Holiday, Give Me Space is a sophisticated sapphire blue sparkler. It’s considered a holographic glitter, so you know you’re going to have a mani that dazzles. This is the perfect shade for something a little different than the traditional red/gold holiday mani. I also like it because it’s a shade you can really wear all year. $9.50.

JINsoon Guild and Nocturne Mani

Another stunning combination for holiday and beyond is JINsoon Guild, a chunky mix of gold and white glitter and Nocturne, a dark grey metallic black. The holiday nail art look is simple and yet so pretty! Get the how-to here.

Another favorite nail color came as part of this year’s Vamp Attitude Holiday Collection from Chanel. I love the Lame Rouge Noir Top Coat. This is a beautiful, slightly maroon-tinted, gold fine glitter topcoat that really dresses up your nails!

Zoya Lidia swatch

Lastly, one of my favorite nail shades from the Fall Focus Collection is still perfect for Winter; Zoya Lidia. I just love this eggplant-colored creme. It’s really a color that would look good on practically anyone. I can totally see this paired with a chunky charcoal grey sweater!

Julep Essential Cuticle Oil

I have to include one more thing…my favorite cuticle oil. This time of year and moving into winter, having a cuticle oil really helps with dryness. I absolutely love Julep Essential Cuticle Oil. The roller ball applicator is so convenient and the light scent of the essential oils is like aromatherapy!
