One of the things I love most about the Philosophy beauty brand, besides the great products, are the inspirational messages that appear on their products. The new Philosophy Uplifting Miracle Worker Collection reflects women’s uplifting and optimistic feelings about themselves at every age.
Women no longer subscribe to the idea that their best years are “behind” them…I certainly don’t. Even though I’m aging, I feel good about where I am in my life, knowing that I take care of myself, including my skin. Philosophy calls this attitude “Cool Agers” and I would happily put myself in that camp.
Philosophy’s new Uplifting Miracle Worker Collection was developed with the goal of keeping skin tighter, firmer and visibly lifted. To achieve that, Philosophy developed “Cool-Lift Technology” to help stimulate microcirculation. Then, a collection of extracts restores a stronger collagen and elastin network, improving skin’s overall tightness and firmness. As you apply the products, you do get a cooling sensation.
The Philosophy Uplifting Miracle Worker Collection includes:
Uplifting Miracle Worker Moisturizer ($65) is the cornerstone of the collection. This moisturizer has the velvety feel on your skin that you’ve come to expect from Philosophy; it’s light, elegant and absorbs quickly. There are a multitude of hydrating ingredients in the formula, including glycerin, shea butter and squalane, as well as anti-aging peptides. I love the feel of Uplifting Miracle Worker Moisturizer on my face; it’s not heavy or greasy, has a light, fresh fragrance and after using it, I am pleased to see glowing, firmer skin. Another plus…this cream can be used by all skin types.
Uplifting Miracle Worker Moisturizer Booster ($55) is a companion product to the Moisturizer. At first, I admit…I was confused by this product and just applied it like a serum. Huge mistake! After re-reading the directions, I realized that you have to mix a couple drops of Booster WITH a dime-sized amount of the Moisturizer, otherwise you have a sticky mess. When done correctly, the effect is amazing. You get the cooling sensation, plus a lifted effect. If using this in the morning before makeup, give it a minute to absorb fully.
Uplifting Miracle Worker Eye Cream ($69) has a light texture and is packed with hydrating and antiaging ingredients. What I like is that this eye cream targets all the signs of aging, including firming the undereye area, plus addresses dark circles, puffiness and crepiness. For someone looking for an excellent anti-aging eye cream, this is it. It’s formulated with the same cooling complex as the other Uplifting products and has a distinctive applicator. Over the period that I tested this eye cream, I saw good results. This is an eye cream that I would re-buy.
