New Rouge Dior Lipstick

If you’re a fan of Dior lipsticks, get excited, as there is big news! Introducing the new Rouge Dior Lipstick Collection by Peter Philips, Creative and Image Director of Dior Makeup. The Rouge Dior Collection includes a total of 50 lipstick colors in two finishes: 35 classic luxe satins and 15 long-wearing mattes.

I’ve been anxious for the launch of the Rouge Dior Lipstick Collection for some time, as I’ve had a longtime love of Dior lipstick. If I’m going to make an impulse beauty buy, it’s likely a Dior lipstick. The colors are gorgeous, with good, comfortable wear….and of course, that chic packaging.

Dior Rouge Dior Lipsticks-2

I was able to preview three Rouge Dior Lipstick shades: #772 Classic Matte (Natural Nude/Matte finish), #988 Rialto (Legendary Red/Satin finish) and #994 Mysterieuse (Pretty Pinks/Satin finish). Of the shades I’ve been wearing, Mysterieuse is my favorite. It’s a vibrant amethyst with a satin finish; perfect for Fall. The feel on the lips of all the Rouge Dior lipsticks is very comfortable, as all 50 shades are formulated with Hyaluronic Acid to plump the lips, and Mango Butter to nourish and protect. The colors are vibrant with excellent pigmentation and true color saturation.

#962 Dior Poison Matte

For Fashionistas, the most-desired Rouge Dior Lipstick will be Poison Matte #962, the shade used by Peter Philips at the Dior Fall 2016 Ready-to-Wear show in Paris. This deep burgundy hue is inspired by the legendary Dior fragrance, Poison. As soon as it’s available, I’ll be ordering that one. It will be a beautiful way to wear the dark lip trend.

The new Rouge Dior Lipstick Collection ($35) is available now in department stores, including Nordstrom, Sephora and at Dior.com. This is luxury lipstick, with no detail overlooked. Even the inside of the new Rouge Dior case is a stunning red. If you’re looking to update your makeup bag for Fall, or just treat yourself, I would definitely recommend picking one up!
