If you love a good highlight like everyone else, but maybe not the kind that you can see from outer space…Urban Decay’s new Naked Skin Highlighting Fluid is for you (and me). This new highlighter is just the thing for glowy, gorgeous, lit-from-within skin but without the drama.

When I think Urban Decay, makeup that’s “not for the shy” usually comes to mind. I love UD because of their beauty for everyone approach. It’s equal opportunity for those that love a bold look, or those that like things a little more subtle. For that subtle look, I know I can always turn to the NAKED products, whether it’s concealer or eyeshadow, or these new highlighters.

Naked Skin Highlighting Fluids are a sheer highlighter that is easy to use and gives a pretty, pearlized shimmer effect on the skin. It’s different from other highlighters I have, in that there is a doe foot applicator, making it easy to place the highlights exactly where you want.

Naked Skin Highlighting Fluid comes in five shades:

  • Aura – iridescent light pink
  • Fireball – peach with pink shift
  • Luminous – champagne with gold iridescent shimmer
  • Sin – champagne
  • Skywalk – pale iridescent blue

Naked Skin Highlighting Fluid feels and blends like a skincare product. The formula has pearlescent pigments for light diffusion, plus antioxidants vitamin C and E. It doesn’t settle into fine lines, goes on smoothly and can even be mixed with your foundation for a dewy glow. The effect is more of a subtle glow once blended, so if you love a full-on strobe effect, then apply the highlighting fluid first and add Afterglow 8-Hour Powder Highlighter on top.

Urban Decay Naked Skin Highlighting Fluid ($28 each) is available exclusively at Sephora. I think it’s a great addition to the line; is this something you’d be interested in?
