Think how many times you buy a palette and wish you could take out one color and exchange it for a different shade. With the new MAKE UP FOR EVER Artist Face Color Palette system, you can do that. Custom colors for the win!
I love the idea of building a face palette with colors that I know will work best for me. With MAKE UP FOR EVER’s Artist Face Color palettes, you choose the combination of highlight, sculpt and/or blush colors that work for you. The system has single, duo and trio palettes that are super-magnetized (seriously, once you snap in a color, those babies are in there!). There are 34 Artist Face Colors to pick from, in matte and shimmer finishes.
MAKE UP FOR EVER sent me a single, duo and trio palette, along with an assortment of shades in the range, so that I could experiment and build my own combinations. Each individual shade runs $23, however, you can get a filled 2-pan palette for $35 or a 3-pan filled palette for $45. Otherwise pick a mono, duo or trio palette and build from there. There are 7 highlight shades, 7 sculpt/contour shades and 20 blush shades. Each is highly pigmented, long-wearing and very blendable.
As you can see, the Artist Face Color shades I received are quite warm; I will probably add some cool tones for extra versatility. In addition to the shades that you can select yourself, there will be a Jessie J Artist Face Color Trio Palette available, with a highlight, sculpt and blush. ($45).
Bottom line is, you do you! Pick out the colors, textures and products that YOU want in a palette and go to town. You can find the new MAKE UP FOR EVER Artist Face Color palette system at Sephora.com, makeupforever.com and in MAKE UP FOR EVER boutiques. Come August, you’ll be able to find these in-store at Sephora. Are you excited for these custom palettes?
