Marc Jacobs Beauty introduces six new Eye-Conic Eyeshadow Palettes for Fall. The eyeshadows are inspired by textiles and layering…a key focus of any fashion-forward Fall runway look. These are the colors the well-dressed eye will be wearing this season.

Each of the Eye-Conic Eyeshadow Palettes features four fashion finishes named after a fabric: velvet (matte), satin (shimmer), silk (sparkle) and lamé (metallic). The six Eye-Conic Palettes include:

  • Provocouture (710) – dusty plum and magenta
  • Glambition (720) – bare and bronze
  • Frivoluxe (730) – chilled greige and violet
  • Scandalust (740) – rust and warmed browns with scarlet
  • Edgitorial (750) – camouflage and reflective gold
  • Sartorial (760) – celestial cobalt with icy teal and prismatic grey

I tried the Glambition Eye-Conic Palette, which is the neutral palette. The eyeshadow is buttery and smooth, with excellent color payoff and a long-wear formula. The eyeshadows are so pigmented and blend out so well. Glambition is a stunning palette, definitely worth the investment. I love the combinations of colors and texures in this palette. Even for neutrals, there is plenty of contrast to work with. The shadow on the far right, Glamour, is similar to my favorite MAC shadow, Carbon; except this one has a distinct shimmer. It’s gorgeous!

A closer look at the Glambition shadows…the smoky eye possibilities are endless!

When you turn the palette over, you’ll see that the names of the shades, when read from left to right, form a little fashion-based thought. For Glambition, it reads “She Was| Infamous| Known For| Seeking| The Most| Over The Top| Glamour”. The sleek, oblong palette is super chic, with a very luxe feel.

The Marc Jacobs Beauty Eye-Conic Eyeshadow Palettes ($49 each) are available at Sephora and marcjacobsbeauty.com. I would highly recommend adding one of these palettes to your collection for Fall!
