BECCA Cosmetics is ready for the frosty glow of the holidays with the release of the Après Ski Glow Collection! The collection features a highlighting palette (of course!) and an eyeshadow palette that is sure to make your heart skip a beat.
I’m always excited to see a new BECCA release, but this holiday collection exceeded my expectations!
The limited-edition Après Ski Glow Face Palette is a mix of warm and cool tones, making it easy for everyone to love. The Shimmering Skin Perfector® Pressed Highlighter shades include [top row] Rose Quartz, Icicle, Winter Berry and [bottom row] Blushed Copper, Opal, Bronzed Bondi. Icicle gives you the icy, frosty blue-lavender cool tone to pop your holiday look. These highlighters are not full-on glitters that you can see from a mile away; the finish is glowing and beautiful. This is an exceptionally versatile highlighting palette, allowing you to blush, bronze and highlight. If you love the Chrissy Teigen Palette (review), you’ll love this one, too.
Also new is the Après Ski Glow Collection Eye Lights Palette, which is exciting. BECCA has translated the Shimmering Skin Perfector® Pressed Highlighter formula into seven neutral toned-eyeshadows that pair perfectly with the shades in the Après Ski Glow Face Palette. The finishes are a mix of satin and shimmer. Going around the palette, the shades include Topaz (top rt.), Opal, Moonstone, Rose Quartz, Hot Cocoa, Toasted Marshmallow, with Pearl in the middle. The shadows have good color payoff, are smooth, almost creamy and a dream to use.
Although not officially part of this collection, there are two new highlighters you need to see. The Shimmering Skin Perfector® Pressed Highlighter Gradient Glow. If you’re a take-your-makeup-with-you kind of gal, then you need to pick this up, because there are five shades of BECCA’s most popular highlighters in one compact! Love, love, love this highlighting palette!
The Shimmering Skin Perfector® Pressed Highlighter in Lilac Geode is a dazzling cool pink highlighter with a golden pearl finish. It’s an interesting highlighter, though, because on me the gold in the formula gives it a warmer finish; as compared to the Prismatic Amethyst Highlighter, which has a duo-chrome finish and reads cool. If you’re looking for a lavender highlighter that’s a bit warmer, try Lilac Geode.
