One of the best things about a change in season is the accompanying beauty product launches to go with. This spring, lip gloss is back in a big way, and there are new releases out to tempt you.

Urban Decay has just introduced new Hi-Fi Shine Ultra Cushion Lipgloss. These glosses are super shiny, comfortable to wear, and come in four finishes: cream, sheer cream, metallic and holographic. I love the packaging, which allows you to easily see the shade. Plus, there’s the minty taste and slight plumping action. You need these!

From Lancôme, the new L’Absolu Glosses are absolutely stunning. With 29 shades and 3 textures (sheer, cream and velvet, a demi-matte finish), the formula plumps and cushions lips. The color saturation is excellent and I’m wearing the 202 Pink/Beige shade on repeat. So many pretty shades and look at the depth of color!

Physicians Formula has introduced The Healthy Lip Velvet Liquid Lipsticks. This is a satin-matte, long-wearing formula with avocado oil, hyaluronic acid and vitamins that hydrates and smooths lips. There is a very wearable range of shades. This is probably my favorite Physicians Formula product that I’ve tried!

Pixi Beauty MatteLast Liquid Lip  are pretty in pink! The shade range is universally flattering and so springy, you can’t make a bad pick! The applicator is excellent; it’s an open teardrop shape that gives a perfect swipe of color every time. For a long-wearing matte formula, I didn’t experience any drying or creasing.

Maybelline is also in the game, with SuperStay Matte Ink Liquid Lipstick in ten new muted, Un-Nude shades. These liquid lipsticks are gorgeous, and the long-wearing formula is the best I’ve tried. If you need serious long-wear lip color, this is one to get. The color payoff is also very good, and the formula is comfortable to wear on the lips.

I’ve always been a fan of Fresh Sugar Lip Treatments; the original is one of my most-repurchased beauty products! In for spring is the new Sugar Punch Tinted Lip Treatment SPF 15. This is a sheer, buildable red-orange shade, perfect for brightening. I’m not a red lipstick-wearer, but I can wear this shade. Also new is the Sugar Dream Lip Treatment Advanced Therapy in Sheer Pink. I adore this dreamy rose shade, that intensely nourishes and hydrates lips for up to 24 hours.

Finally, new to me are Clinique’s Pop Matte Lip Colour + Primer. The formula is creamy, weightless and has great wear time. I love the smooth finish; perfection, thanks to the primer. Shown are Beach Pop, Bold Pop and Graffiti Pop, which is the perfect bright pink shade for spring and summer.
