Launching April 1st, the China Glaze Poolside Nail Lacquer Collection for Summer 2010 features fun, bright, can't-miss colors to keep your manicure and pedicure looking hot.
The 6 colors
in the Poolside collection include:
- Pool Party: Neon Pink
- Flip Flop Fantasy: Neon
- Yellow Polka Dot Bikini:
- Sun Worshipper: Neon Orange
- Kiwi Cool-Ada: Neon Green
- Towel Boy Toy: Neon Blue
The colors are all really wearable and what surprised me most was that, when I saw the colors in person, I loved them ALL, but my favorites are Kiwi Cool-Ada, Towel Boy Toy and Flip Flop Fantasy. Definitely not what I would have expected, as I'm usually a classic Neon Pink lover for Summer.
In my experience, there is an art to working with neon polishes and it did take me multiple coats to achieve a good look. I had the best luck with Pool Party. Kiwi Cool-Ada and Towel Boy Toy. Yellow Polka Dot Bikini and Sun Worshipper were definitely the hardest to work with.
If you purchase this collection, please note that
like most neon polishes, the first layer will look extremely opaque
and thin. You will need to build up to desired coverage and always remember
to let each layer dry completely before applying the next. This will
help prevent streaks and missing patches of color on the nail bed.
The China Glaze Poolside Nail Lacquer Collection for Summer 2010
