MAC for Spring 2010 invites us to pick a mood, decide on a
demeanour, then mix it up for a fervent flash of authentic emotion! The MAC Spring 2010 Colour Forecast Makeup Collection centres on four
specific stories: Pink/Lavender (Colour 1), Coral (Colour 2), Plum/Burgundy (Colour 3) and Yellow/Gold (Colour 4).  Keep it monochromatic or cross over to the other side. The
result is deeply personal, vividly alive, artistic, undeniably impactful.

Each Colour Collection features fresh hues of lipstick, Lipglass, eyeshadow. But MAC didn't stop there.  New innovations include Blush Ombre ($25), a blush with ombre variations for shading and highlighting. Pick the shade from the colour family that suits your skintone best. I previewed the Blush Ombre from the Colour 1 Collection and found it very wearable.  I like bring able to blend the tones together for a customizable color effect.

Another innovation is Crush Metal Pigment, a stackable duo of pigments ($32.50) available in Colour 1 and Colour 2. I love this system of coordinated pigments, which simplifies storage and ease of transporting for travel.

Creations fragrance features two new scents, available in  Colour 1 and Colour 2.  Colour 1 features Pinkaura, a floral bouquet of freesia, black violet and magnolia petals with a drydown of warm amber and vetiver ($25). Creations in the Colour 2 collection is MV2; classic vanilla with lemon and lavendar creme, with a drydown of vanilla mousse and heliotrope. Sounds heavenly!
