The Givenchy Summer 2010 Makeup Collection is Nicolas
Degennes’ travel diary from a photo shoot at the ends of the earth…filled with unexpected surprises of an island overflowing with treasures.
This makeup collection is inspired by the colors and scents of frangipani,
hibiscus, sand and unique waters. I think it's the prettiest summer color collection I've seen; I totally want everything. And how amazing does Liv Tyler look in the ad campaign?
Highlights from the Givenchy Summer 2010 Makeup Collection include:
Fleur de Frangipanier
– Unique Compact Powder, available in Island Sun, which features pink and golden tones for medium complexions and Island Tan, designed for darker complexions. I love the Island Sun shades; that pop of pink keeps you from looking too ashy. Limited-edition, $45.
Le Prisme Mono
– Unique Eyeshadow – For the eyes, unique palettes
of blues in Island Lagoon and golds in Island Sun
evoke images of lagoons and sunlight reflecting on the bright sand. Limited-edition, $29.
Phenomen’Eyes Waterproof – In a new limited edition shade,
Water Turquoise is featured in a frangipani blossom package, stylized
in metallic blue. Limited-edition, $29.
Pop Gloss Crystal SUN – The memory of exotic fruit is
evoked in the Pop Gloss Crystal SUN range. Shades of Island
Guava, a soft pink with golden highlights and Sun Cocoa,
a radiant brown, evoke images of luscious lips. Limited-edition, $24.50.
And just to tease you–because the nail polish isn't available in the U.S., look at how gorgeous the Vernis nail colours are in Island Lagoon and Island Palm. I'm lusting more over these shades than Pop Petrol!
