It’s Wednesday, which means it’s time for an update on my Nutrisystem weight-loss progress.  One of my goals with being on Nutrisystem is to (finally) learn the skills necessary that will enable me to maintain the weight loss.  I have to change my relationship with food.

I can say that I’m starting to gain some insight into what works better for me.  For instance, one thing I really like about the Nutrisystem diet is the way your day is structured.  Of course, there is breakfast lunch and dinner.  But mid-afternoon, you get a snack (usually a dairy or protein and a fruit).  And after dinner, there is dessert.  I really like the fact that every few hours you’re “refueling”…and that keeps hunger pangs to a minimum.

I also have to start to work on more consistent exercise and that’s next week’s goal.  I’ve ordered the Wii Walk It Out game and plan to try to commit to doing it at least a few times a week until it becomes warm enough outside to walk.  I’ll keep you posted on that.
