This week I’m going to talk about taking a challenge and succeeding at it–yay me!  The Nutrisystem Mindset Makeover challenge was to do 30 minutes of exercise, four times within a week or to exercise a total of 120 minutes.  For someone like me that has a mostly “hate” relationship with exercise, this is probably the part of a weight loss program I dread the most.

I really believe you have to be in the right mindset to lose weight and if you’re not at that place, it’s really difficult to be successful. I was so ready to lose weight that even if it involved exercise, I was ready to commit.  I’ve been exercising to the Wii Walk It Out game.  Not only is it great exercise, but because as you walk, you accumulate points that you “spend” building an island, you don’t even notice how long you’ve been walking. This week I walked a total of 165 minutes, which actually beat the challenge! Finding something that I like to do will be key in helping me to keep losing weight and staying healthy.
